This class leads you into a yoga practice that is restorative (gentle, well supportive poses). It is tailored specifically to your needs to arouse your inner awareness through Asanas (postures) specific for healing emotions, moods or body discomforts.
Athough most people think of yoga as physical experience, yoga is actually an ancient and powerful physical practice for self awareness. Yoga experienced in this way develops personal character, inner strength and a calm compassionate heart. Yoga is not a religion and you are encouraged to test it's teaching in your personal laboratory of your life.
This is an excellent class for you if you always wanted to try yoga, but wanted to feel safe and nurtured. Definitely worthwhile.
